Tea by the Sea – Ullapool

Fancy a cuppa sitting on the harbour wall before catching your ferry for Stornaway? Make sure you try Gill’s custard pies from this tea room in Ullapool.

Fancy a Cuppa? Book CoverFancy a Cuppa?

Fancy a Cuppa? reviews 50 places across the UK for a good cup of tea or coffee and a nice piece of cake, a scone or other local delicacy. This is not a ’50 best’ tea rooms or cafes guide. Rather it includes places that have a story to tell.

Read the full description of this book on the books page and if you like what you see you can buy it from there too.

Gill does all the baking: custard tart specialist, but also excellent caramel cake.  Scottish cream teas available; and a nice line in sandwiches and omelettes.
