Station Tea Rooms – Grosmont

Fancy a cuppa and a slab of cake watching the steam trains chug past? Great atmosphere, but be aware that even when it’s crowded, smut-covered train crew can jump the queue to get their flasks filled with good strong Yorkshire Tea.

Fancy a Cuppa? Book CoverFancy a Cuppa?

Fancy a Cuppa? reviews 50 places across the UK for a good cup of tea or coffee and a nice piece of cake, a scone or other local delicacy. This is not a ’50 best’ tea rooms or cafes guide. Rather it includes places that have a story to tell.

Read the full description of this book on the books page and if you like what you see you can buy it from there too.

Good strong cuppa Yorkshire Tea – what more do you want?  Well there are three cakes fresh every day. And an Early Bird bacon or sausage baguette.
