Best coffee in Kurnell, just a couple of blocks from the beach on Botany Bay. They serve up the rather good Allpress coffee at Milkhouse.
The review of this coffee shop in Kurnell, NSW is designed to fit in with our current tour of New South Wales outdoor swimming pools and this coffee shop was great for a post swim coffee after a dip in the swimming enclosure at Silver Beach,Kurnell. There’s no book planned for now but a new website http://oceanpoolsnsw.net.au. So for now take a look at our earlier books…

They serve up the rather good Allpress coffee and make it on a beautiful white Marzocco machine at Milkhouse. The café owner has Uruguayan connections so this is coffee with a Uruguayan twist, though I think that may be more connected to the food than the drink. As usual I was just here for my post swim coffee and cake and was very pleased to have found this place since it didn’t show up in my google search for ‘coffee in Kurnell’ – in fact I think since I went and put it on my ocean pools site, those keywords do now give you Milkhouse somewhere on page 1, but this is the kind of coffee shop many visitors to Kurnell risk missing as it is not the closest to the beach and I only found it by chance as I searched for public toilets in the area. Best coffee in Kurnell for sure.

There are buses to Kurnell from Cronulla. If driving, Kurnell is all the way around Botany Bay and sits on the promontory close to where Captain Cook apparently first landed. Milkhouse coffee shop is a couple of blocks from the lovely Silver Beach.
